Bowman always holds a special place in the hearts of collectors and this Derek Jeter rookie card is the marquee card from this years set.

This Jeter rookie came from a special release box set. What's interesting is that the card uses the 1992 design and not the 1993. This card had a much shorter print run than a lot of the other Derek Jeter rookies making it much more rare.

By 1993, the Score set had lost a lot of its appeal amongst collectors and this is definitely considered an extremely low-end Jeter rookie.

At this time, Pinnacle was one of the higher-end baseball card sets being produced. The design of the card is definitely clean and simple but because of the black border it can be a far more difficult grade which is why collectors will pay top dollar for higher grades.

The Top Prospects subset was released in Series 2 of the 1993 Upper Deck MLB set. There is both a basic version as well as a much more rare gold hologram version of the card.

7. 1993 Derek Jeter Topps 1992 Draft Pick Rookie Card #98
This Draft Picks subset was found in Series 1 of the 1993 Topps baseball set. Collectors know that Topps is by far the most celebrated brand in the hobby which is part of what makes this card special.
The Topps Gold version of this card is far more rare and there are also Florida Marlins and Colorado Rookie Inaugural Season versions with low print runs as well.

8. 1993 Derek Jeter Upper Deck SP Foil Rookie Card #279
This card is far and away Derek Jeter's most popular rookie card and with that popularity also comes a hefty price tag.
Because of the foil background it can be extremely difficult to find this card is mint condition so highly graded PSA and BGS cards come at an ultra-premium price.
This card is the holy grail of Derek Jeter rookie cards.
